I would use Beebot to look at some of the maths and digital technologies outcomes.
Lesson 1 – Firstly I would let the children explore Beebot and how to program it. Children would discuss what they found and how Beebot worked.
Lesson 2 – Plan a route for Beebot. Create a set of instructions or flow chart for others to use and program Beebot. Can they program Beebot to the same place.
Lesson 3 – Compass points and angles. What angles does Beebot turn. Can these be linked to the points on a Conpass?
Investigating and Defining (ACTDIP004): Follow, describe and represent a sequence of steps and decisions (algorithms) needed to solve simple problems.
