Digital Tech and Math #cserTask 3
Students have played games in Scratch and are familiar with it as consumers.
The goal of this is for the students to demonstrate their knowledge of shapes through using the blocking code of Scratch.
Lesson 1 – Exploring simple 2D shapes and their properties
Lesson 2 – Understanding the properties of shapes and using that knowledge to move an object around a grid in their math books recording the steps to create the shape
Lesson 3 – Using those instructions to move a person around the grid on the classroom floor to make a shape.
Lesson 4 – Exploring Scratch to make the cat draw the shape on the screen. Digital Technology and Math
