I read the book The Gingerbread man to Yrs 1-3. We then worked together on the IWB to write out the sequences in the story. The children then had to choose 2 sequences in the story and produce it in Scratch Jr on the ipads. They had to ensure that they also used coding – movement, shrinking, disappearing, repeat and voice They also had to draw their own backgrounds.
