To develop the idea of an algorithm having repeated actions, my Grade 2 class would first investigate a repeating story such as "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" by Judith Viorst. They would then need to created a storyboard for a tale of their own. Different colours of paper could indicate aspects of the story.g. the repeated dialogue or action. This story would then be reproduced on the Storybird app. (storybird.com)
