I have previously used Lightbot, Hopscotch, Scratch and Scratch Jr in my classrooms. To encourage students to share their understanding of Hopscotch and Scratch Jr, I have had them work with a partner in a situation to a Barrier Game. One partner, while looking at a finished program with an unseen code, has to provide the code to their partner. The aim, as with any barrier game, is to have both finished programs ending up the same.
