I have used the app 'Explain Everything' in Maths to explain a variety of Maths processes, such as simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division sums, but it could also be used to explain any Maths concept that you are working on in class. I have also used it as a way to assess students understanding of the topic which we are focusing on.
The first lesson would be to demonstrate the features of the app (if students are unfamiliar). Next would be to give the students a simple sum to practice using the features, completing in partners would be beneficial. Then give students the activity and a partner to complete the task/problem. You could review it and make suggestions. Once complete it could be presented to the class.
