Nicholas Saltmarsh▸ U4: Math Connections
My idea is around students using both unplugged and scratch. To begin with, students learn about shapes and symmetry, then using peer instructions make various shapes, based upon the instruction (this is the unplugged aspect). Following the students will then use a visual program to create shapes, then describe the aspects of the shapes and if/ how the shapes have line/s of symmetry.
