We used scratch to create a multiplication self-test. We programmed it so it would pick a random integer between 1-12 and then multiply it by another one also from 1-12.
The students then created a variable for lives. Each time they input the correct answer they moved on to the next one until they had lost their three lives or completed 20 questions
