Last term, my class created narratives based off a picture prompt of a treasure chest. They started by creating a story board on paper. Reflecting on it, it would have been a great idea to integrate digital technologies into this task by creating multi-modal story board which led on to discussions about how we could make the characters interact with each other. The students could then have attempted this through a program such as Scratch, and even taken it a step further to create interactive stories. A few students chose to write 'choose your own adventure' style stories which would have been great (although perhaps a bit technical) to create using coding. A solution to this may be to pick one story and create a page each or in small groups.
