Game- Spell Bot

In this game students will improve spelling of tricky words with a Spell-bot who is a classroom buddy.
Students pair up with one student as the programmer and the other as the Spell-bot.
Students have pre-made command cards that instruct the robot to do simple things, such as tie shoe or pack bag for home-time, deconstructed into stages. However, some cards have spelling errors.
The Spell-bot has the same set of cards but without errors.
Once the Spell-bot begins to complete the "program" but finds an error, the Spell-bot stops and corrects the programmer.
This same game might be done with grammar errors instead.
It helps the student learn spelling but also the importance of correct syntax when programming computers.
