Linking Digital Technologies to Mathematics – A series of activities.
Age group: Kindergarten.

Session 1
Aim: Students identify numerals and quantities to 20.
Activity: Play the 'I has… who has' card game. Students are to identify the numbers on each card.
Outcomes: Identify numerals to 20. Connect number names to quantities.

Session 2
Aim: Students use programming to move BeeBot to number indicated by staff member. Numbers are either numerals or visual imagery.
Activity: Use the BeeBot to move from one grid to another using programming knowledge and number knowledge.
Outcomes: Identify numerals to 20. Identify different ways that we represent information.

Session 3
Aim: Students use programming to move BeeBot to number indicated by a peer. Numbers are either numerals or visual imagery.
Activity: Use the BeeBot to move from one grid to another using programming knowledge and number knowledge.
