Diary of a Wombat
Story retell using beebots and a story map of the places in the story with sound effects. The students begin by listening to the story and thinking of different sounds that will go with the different actions of the wombat. The students record the different sounds using an ipad and the voice recorder app (using digital systems and software). To retell the story, the students navigate around the map by giving the beebot simple commands to each part of the story (algorithms), adding in the sound effects. If the beebot doesn’t move correctly students need to debug and try again until they are successful. To add to the retell, the students can make a little costume for the beebot to be dressed as a wombat.#cserTask2
