Task 1 Visual Programming
I've found that previous lessons around teaching SCRATCH have become tricky as the students have not had the confident understanding of what the terminology is on the programming blocks. I'll add in an unplugged lesson teaching how to read the words, know and understand the meaning through physical role play and then finally model some very simplistic visual programming. An area of particular weakness was understanding the concept of looping, if/else statements and the importance of decision making.
