Scott Ward▸ U3: English Connections


Our Year 1 students have been making interactive Thrass charts in Book Creator. They have taken a photo of the original paper chart and are inserting sound bites of their own voice saying each sound. Students add to their book as they come across each sound. The books have become invaluable for revision at home.

Read decodable and predictable texts using developing phrasing, fluency, contextual, semantic, grammatical and phonic knowledge and emerging text processing strategies, for example prediction, monitoring meaning and re-reading (ACELY1659 – Scootle )
