Jessie Pawson▸ U3: English Connections


In my P-1 class children need to make a multi modal retell based on the class book Bear and Chook go to the beach. Students are going to create a re-tell using a flow chart of Bear and Chook and what they did to get to the beach. Then students could create if statements for if Bear and Chook didn't go to the beach where would they go and what would they have to pack.

Students could then use a grid map and have pictures of what Bear and Chook have to pack for the beach. Working in pairs they need to give each other a set of clear instructions so their partner can move their plastic bear.

My end game is that students may need to go through the debugging phase and re-visit their instructions so it is clear and precise for their partners. #cserTask2
