Task 1. Visual Programming

I attempted the maze challenge. I’m usually to busy to ‘play’ so to allow myself the hour to experiment was strange. I usually have too many other tasks to complete. I enjoyed being successful and so would our students. I found it became harder at level 7. It was slightly frustrating when it didn’t work, but then the challenge of getting past the level kicked in. I didn’t complete level 10, it was more challenging and I was being interrupted by people coming into the room. I found that the interruptions prevented me from sticking to a logical sequence to solve that level. I would prefer if users could look at previous attempts they had tried. Rather than guessing and repeating again.

I chose this activity because I had not used Blockly before. Students and PL could use it to help them build resilience to challenging tasks.
