Geometry in Maths
Students will use Blockly and the Dash robot to find the opposite angle of a 2D shape and have Dash move around that shape. Students will need to divide 360 by the number of corners in a 2D shape to find the outside angle. This can then be set as a variable in Blockly. Students can then use Blockly iterations to loop through code to make Dash move in that shape on the floor.
Students may use the marker set available for Dash to draw their shapes on the ground.
Extensions could possible include adding measurement variables to make the shape bigger each time Dash goes through an iteration.
