Unit 4: Maths connections


Using a Bee Bot mat, place obstacles on the mat, e.g. cars, blocks toys.   Build tunnels/ bridges. Design and make Bee Bot houses and place on the mat. Get children to navigate the Bee Bots from their house to somewhere, e.g. Get the Bee Bot to the bridge.   One child will be the instructor who will record the algorithm using arrows and instruct how to program the bee bot. The other child will follow the instructions and push the buttons on the Bee Bot. A third child will be the debugger if there are any problems.
