One way to bring maths and technologies together in the classroom is through measurement. students will need to code a robot to move forward 5 metres and to the left 6 metres. To do this student will need to convert the distance a robot travels per input. For example, if the robot travels 1 metre per input the student will need to put in five inputs forward and 6 inputs left. by doing this activity students are experimenting with both measurement and conversion calculations using a physical manipulative coded through digital means. it promises to be a fun and informative lesson.
