I would use Beebot to look at some of the maths and digital technologies outcomes.
Lesson 1 – Firstly I would let the children explore Beebot and how to program it. Children would discuss what they found and how Beebot worked.
Lesson 2 – Plan a route for Beebot. Create a set of instructions or flow chart for others to use and program Beebot. Can they program Beebot to the same place.
Lesson 3 – Compass points and angles. What angles does Beebot turn. Can these be linked to the points on a Conpass?

#CSERTask3 For this Maths Task I have taken outcomes for Year 6 Maths based on shape and geometry. The link is very obvious, as students use Turtle to understand that Pen Up and Pen Down is like an On/Off Switch, and that coding requires specific sequencing of instructions. Students first learn and understand shapes before creating them on Turtle, they can also make pictures using shapes and then use coding to recreate digitally.
